Davit Gabunia, born in 1982 in Poti, Gerogia, is a writer, dramaturge and translator, and works closely with Data Tavadze. He has headed the literary department of the Royal District Theater since 2008. Twice he was awarded the Georgian theatre prize Duruji. In 2015 he received the most important literary award in Georgia, the SABA. In time for this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair, where Georgia will be guest of honour, his first novel Falling Apart will be published in German.
