Autor:innentheatertage 2023

Three world premieres as part of a Long Night, ten Berlin premieres, a packed festival for new drama: the programme of the Autor:innentheatertage 2023 is complete - from 30 April to 11 May 2023, all stages of the Deutsches Theater Berlin will be bustling with activity. This year, the ATT celebrate their last edition under the directorship of Ulrich Khuon, who founded the festival in 1995 in Hanover and then brought it with him from Hamburg to Berlin.

To close the Autor:innentheatertage, we will celebrate a New Drama Day on Thursday 11 May. The DRAMA FORUM Graz, the Dramenprozessor from Zurich, the Heidelberger Stückemarkt, the Kleist-Förderpreis Frankfurt/Oder, the course of study for scenic writing at the UdK Berlin, the HfMT Hamburg, the Mülheimer Theatertage and other project partners will be taking part. Together with these friendly institutions, the Deutsches Theater invites you to meet, network and exchange information about the state of playwrights' promotion. In the afternoon, there will be a networking meeting; in the evening, the DT ensemble will present brand-new theatre texts in a reading course at special locations in the theatre as a festival finale.

We will publish all information on the guest performances and the supporting programme of the Autor:innentheatertage 2023 on 1 April. Advance booking for the Long Night of Authors (Lange Nacht der Autor:innen) starts on 10 March and for the guest performances on 10 April.
