German by Henning Bochert
A collective voice, a nameless "We", deals with male power, about violence, bombs, flight, the injury of bodies, the damage of everyday life, the loss of longing for life. And about the difficulty to talk about it, here, at this place, where there is normally no room for those stories. "We – will pretend that we have a clue of you, that we have SOMETHING new to tell you. You – will pretend that you are trying to understand us. Yes. This is the minimum you can do. To pretend that you tried."
