Claus Caesar
Claus Caesar was born in Wiesbaden in 1967. He studied German Literature, Medieval and Modern History, and Political Economics at the University of Hamburg and at Washington University in St. Louis (USA), earning his PhD in 1999. From 1999 to 2001 Claus Caesar was an assistant dramaturg at the Bavarian State Theatre in Munich. He worked as a dramaturg at the Frankfurt Playhouse from 2001-2005 and at the Thalia Theater Hamburg from 2005-2009. Since the 2009/2010 theatre season, Claus Caesar has been a dramaturg at the Deutsches Theater Berlin.
