Natali Seelig
Born in Witten, Natali Seelig grew up in Basel, Liverpool, Hongkong, Biersdorf close to Bitburg. After completing her training at the Otto-Falckenberg-School in Munich, she began acting at Hanover’s State Theatre in 1992. The following year she joined the ensemble of the Bavarian State Theatre in Munich and began working with director Andreas Kriegenburg. In 1998 Seelig was voted ''Actress of the Year'' in a critics’ poll conducted by trade magazine Theater heute. The next year she performed at Vienna’s Burgtheater. From 2002 to 2009 Seelig was a member of the ensemble at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg. There she continued to collaborate with Andreas Kriegenburg and also worked with directors such as Armin Petras, Jorinde Dröse and Alize Zandwijk. In the 2009/2010 season Natali Seelig joined the Deutsches Theater ensemble. She has most recently worked with directors such as Andreas Kriegenburg, Jette Steckel,Lilja Rupprecht, Philipp Arnold, Tom Kühnel and Jürgen Kuttner. Currently Natali Seelig can be seen in everyman (dies), Ode, Lear, Hunger. Peer Gynt, Heart of a dog, Water Drops on Burning Rocks, Stories from here: Faith, Love & Hope, Thieves, Nathan the Wise and The chips are down.
