Hanna Eichel studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich and meanwhile played at the Münchner Kammerspiele (Alkestis, director: Jossi Wieler). From 2006 to 2009 she was engaged at the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin and worked with Nora Schlocker, Peter Kastenmüller, Armin Petras and Christoph Schlingensief. From 2009 to 2012 she was engaged at the Theater Basel, where she worked with directors such as Peter Kastenmüller, Elias Perrig and Ronny Jakubaschk. From 2013 to 2016 she worked free. With Kevin Rittbergers production plebs coriolan from Schauspielhaus Wien, for instance, she played 2014 at the Autorentheatertage at Deutsches Theater Berlin. Since the 2016/17 season she has been a permanent ensemble member at the Neumarkt Theatre. She has played in Herr Puntila und sein Knecht Matti von Brecht (director: Peter Kastenmüller), Judas von Lot Vekemans (director: Tom Schneider), Crisi di Nervi (director: Jacques Palminger), Bonnie and Clyde (director: Wojtek Klemm), Max Frischs Biedermann und die Brandstifter (director: Heike M. Goetze) and Die Hauptstadt von Robert Menasse (director: Tom Kühnel). In March 2018 she was part of the ensemble of Urban Prayers Zurich (concept and artistic direction: Björn Bicker, Malte Jelden). Hanna Eichel opened the current season as Chris Kraus in I Love Dick directed by Friederike Heller. With Entschuldigung, a co-production of the Theater Neumarkt Zurich and the Deutsches Theater Berlin, she will be coming to the Autorentheatertage 2019 for the premiere.
