Sarah Sandeh completed her acting studies at the Westfälische Schauspielschule Bochum. From 2008 to 2010 she was a member of the Schauspiel Leipzig / Centraltheater ensemble. Afterwards she was a guest at the Volksbühne Berlin, the Thalia Theater Hamburg, the Schauspiel Frankfurt and the Staatsschauspiel Hannover. Sarah Sandeh has worked with directors such as Dimiter Gotscheff, René Pollesch, Lars-Ole Walburg, Florian Fiedler, Martin Laberenz, Sebastian Hartmann and Herbert Fritsch. She has also appeared in various film and television productions, most recently in the feature film Hey Bunny and the ARD feature film Hit Mom. Since the 2017/18 season, Sarah Sandeh has been a member of the Neumarkt Theater Zurich ensemble. She played the Margarita in Bulgakow's The Master and Margarita (Meister und Margarita) directed by Peter Kastenmüller, in Die Hauptstadt by Robert Menasse (directed by Tom Kühnel) and in The Great Tragedy of Female Power (directed by Pınar Karabulut). In the 2018/19 season she can be seen in Panikherz by Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre (director: Peter Kastenmüller), in König Ubu after Alfred Jarry (director: Alexander Eisenach), since January 2019 in The Life of Vernon Subutex (Das Leben des Vernon Subutex) after the novel trilogy by Virginie Despentes (director: Peter Kastenmüller) and from the end of May on in Entschuldigung (director: Peter Kastenmüller). Entschuldigung is a co-production with the Deutsches Theater Berlin and will be premiered during the Autorentheatertage 2019.
