Caroline Rössle Harper
Caroline Rössle Harper was born in 1975 in Munich. After training as a men’s tailor at the Deutsche Staatsoper in Berlin, she studied set and costume design at the Weißensee Academy of Art in Berlin. She went on to work as an assistant for Bert Neumann, Jonathan Meese and others. Since the 2010/11 season she has been head of the set and props department at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. Since 2007 she has also worked as a freelance set and costume designer at theatres including the Deutsches Nationaltheater in Weimar, the Sophiensaele in Berlin, the Schauspielhaus in Düsseldorf, the Residenztheater in Munich, the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz and the Deutsches Theater in Berlin, and Theater Basel. For some time now, she has worked in regular close collaboration with Nora Schlocker.
