Carla Satoca Berges
Born 1990 in Valencia. From 2008 to 2015 she studied architecture at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, with a semester abroad at the Fachhochschule Köln and Universidad de Valparaíso, Chile. She gained her first work experience as an architect and then went to Berlin to do her Master's in Stage Design/Scenic Space at the Technical University of Berlin. During her studies, she completed an internship in Stage Design at the Deutsches Theater Berlin and worked as a Assistant in the independent theatre scene. Her first own works were created at Theater Chemnitz, where she designed the stage design for the production Und in den Nächten liegen wir stumm. In 2018 she developed the stage and costume design for the play Verlorene Liebesmühe by Shakespeare Company. Since season 2018/19 she has been a permanent Stage Design Assistant at the DeutscheTheater Berlin. In 2018/19 she designed the stage for the play Am Boden and, in collaboration with Vanessa Vadineanu, the stage and costume design for the play Wölfe. From 2019/2020 season, she will once again be responsible, together with Vanessa Vadineanu, for the set for Regime der Liebe at the Deutsches Theater Berlin.
