Four scientists have taken a new job. Their task is to design an irresistible pull towards a new product, in-vitro meat. To create an effective strategy, they use and explore the human reward center, which every human brain involves. The sponsor Animals Delight makes sure, that they work under best possible conditions – so they’re flown out to a luxurious location: a house on Monkey Island. But something curious is going on there. The house seems to know things about them, which it absolutely shouldn’t.
Rebekka Kricheldorf has written a play, which is ambitious and entertaining at once. She asks questions probably everybody knows: How did I become who I am? Do I have the chance to influence my destiny or is it determined the day I was born?
The House of Monkey Island was created with the support of the Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg (HWK) in Delmenhorst.
