The friends Nini and Jameelah are inseparable, invincible and, for the first time in their lives, in love. Real life seems far away, or they ignore it, as they do Jameelah’s impending deportation. Because it is summer, the start of the holidays, and anything is possible. Berlin is their playground. With reckless abandon, the two fourteen-year-olds roam through the city, steal from Pimkie and get off with boys at the outdoor pool. In the school toilet, they drink their favourite cocktail "Tigermilk", made from milk, brandy and passion-fruitjuice, mixed in plastic bottles. Then, decked out in stripy stockings, they hit the "Kurfürsten" to experiment with men like with frogs. They call the project "deflowering" – they want to practice so that it doesn’t hurt when they find someone they’re serious about.
The non-stop teenage party is like a dance at the edge of the abyss and ends abruptly in reality, when one night both of them witness a murder in their children’s playground. And when the wrong person takes the blame, everything is suddenly at stake – resident permits, innocence, friendship.
