Bernd Moss

Bernd Moss was born in Schwelm and trained to be an actor at the Theaterakademie Spielstatt Ulm. He first worked at the Landestheater Coburg in 1994, went to the Landesbühne Bruchsal in 1995 and then to the Landesbühne Esslingen in 1998. In 2000 he became a member of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus ensemble in Hamburg, working with Tom Stromberg. There he collaborated with Ingrid Lausund and René Pollesch and appeared in productions by Jürgen Gosch and Sebastian Nübling, among others. In 2006 Moss joined the ensemble at Munich’s Kammerspiele where he often worked with directors René Pollesch, Andreas Kriegenburg and Schorsch Kamerun. Bernd Moss has been a member of Deutsches Theater ensemble since the start of the 2009/10 season where he has continued to work with Andreas Kriegenburg, Stefan Pucher, Anne Lenk and René Pollesch. Currently Bernd Moss is playing in Zdeněk Adamec, Melissa Gets Everything, (Life on earth can be sweet) Donna, The Giraffe's Neck, Three Sisters, Cry Baby, Ulysses, Water Drops on Burning Rocks, Nathan the Wise, Tape as well as Thieves.
