Autoren[theater]tage 2020
It is a special theatre year, also for the Autorentheatertage, a year with less theatre, but with all the more authorship. We have used the forced break to reflect with our partner theatres and with the authors of this year's festival on the strange world into which we have suddenly found ourselves. The result is three world premieres and ten short plays, thirteen artistic glimpses of a special time. Seismographs need vibrations, texts need spaces in between. Theatre needs authors who make the changes we are facing readable, audible, visible and experiencable.

In three editions of the Autoren[theater]texte, the ten short plays are presented in scenic readings with the ensemble on various stages of the Deutsches Theater:
