Camill Jammal

Camill Jammal was born in 1985 in Heidelberg. He left school at the age of 16 to attend the Otto Falckenberg School of Performing Arts in Munich. After completing his studies he worked for a period as a freelance actor and then in 2006 began at the Theater Magdeburg. In 2008 he received the Nachwuchspreis (Young Talent Award) of the theatre and the city of Magdeburg. In 2009, Camill Jammal left Magdeburg and moved to Schauspiel Hannover, where he was a member of the ensemble until 2014. He then worked as a freelance actor in Hamburg, including the Thalia Theater. Besides acting, he also frequently works as a musician for film and theatre. From 2015 to season 2018/19, Camill Jammal has been part of the ensemble of the Deutsche Theater Berlin, where he worked with Christopher Rüping, Anne Lenk, Karin Henkel, Andreas Kriegenburg and Thom Luz. From 2019 to the 2020/21 season he was an ensemble member at the Residenztheater in Munich. Since 2021 he has worked as a freelance musician and actor in theatre and in film and television.
