Lene Schwind

Lene Schwind studied Fashion Design in Munich and worked for Hugo Boss and Vivienne Westwood among others. She worked as a freelance assistant at the Schauspielhaus Zürich and Theater Basel. During this time she designed costumes in Basel as well as for the Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film (University of Television and Film) in Munich. She assisted at the Schauspiel Frankfurt in productions by Michael Thalheimer, Andreas Kriegenburg and Barrie Kosky. As a freelance costumer designer she created the costumes for Christoph Mehler’s production of Vor Sonnenaufgang (Before Sunrise) at the Staatstheater Mainz, for Christopher Rüping’s production of Tschick (Why We Took the Car) at the Thalia Theater Hamburg and for Christopher Rüping’s production of Das Leben ein Traum (Life is a Dream) at the Münchner Volkstheater.
