Always this authenticity. This "Be who you are!". Not for endurance! We don't always want to be ourselves. We don't always want to dress according to our gender. Behave according to our age. We want to be different. No matter how, no matter who. Simply different. Breaking out of our bodies and norms and body norms. We are metamorphos, shapeshifters, women with angry hellhounds as abdomen and men with feathers. We are full of prostheses that change and expand our bodies and personalities.
In Youth Club 2 the Greek legends about transformations are combined with the art of travesty, disguise and make-up. Drag Queens and Kings, sexless creatures and Janus-heads populate the stage and announce a world in which nothing is as it seems and nobody has to decide who he or she is.
