Denis Solntsew
Denis Solntsev has been successfully working as lighting designer in various theatres of St. Petersburg since 1991 collaborating with such directors as Victor Kramer, Igor Konyaev, Andrey Moguchy, Valery Fokin, Yury Butusov, Andrii Zholdak, Klim, etc. Since 1999, he has been the lighting designer of the Theatre-Festival Baltic House (SPb). In the "Krasnyi Fackel" ("Red Torch") Theatre Novosibirsk he worked on over ten productions, such as: Without Words, Supper with a Fool by Veber, Prayer for the Dead by Gorin, History of the town of Glupov after Saltykov-Schedrin, Hedda Gabler by Ibsen, Onegin after Pushkin, Fathers and Sons by Friel, KILL after Schiller, The Decameron after Boccaccio, Dovlatov. Jokes, etc. The winner of The National Theatre Award Golden Mask (2014) for Onegin.
