Andreas Döhler
Born in 1974 in Wermsdorf, Saxony, Andreas Döhler studied acting at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig. He began performing at the Deutsches Nationaltheater in Weimar in 2001. From the 2003/2004 season onwards Döhler was an ensemble cast member at Hamburg’s Thalia Theater. There he worked with directors such as Frank Abt, Dimiter Gotscheff, Stephan Kimmig, Armin Petras, Christiane Pohle, Nicolas Stemann, Michael Thalheimer and Alize Zandwijk. Döhler joined the Deutsches Theater ensemble in 2009 where he continued to collaborate with Michael Thalheimer, Nicolas Stemann and Dimiter Gotscheff. Andreas Döhler has most recently worked with directors such as Martin Laberenz, Tom Kühnel and Jürgen Kuttner, Sebastian Hartmann, Stephan Kimmig and Stefan Pucher. Since the season 2017/18 he is a member of the ensemble of the Berliner Ensemble.
