Born in Munich in 1974, Anita Vulesica grew up in Zadar (Croatia) and Berlin. After graduating from the "Ernst Busch" School for Performing Arts in Berlin, she joined the ensemble at Jena’s Theaterhaus, performing there from 2001 to 2004. Thereafter she acted in productions at: the German National Theatre in Weimar, the Sophiensaele and the Schaubühne in Berlin, the Deutsches Schaupielhaus in Hamburg, the Neues Theater in Halle and at the Stuttgart State Theatre. From 2008 to 2010 Vulesica was a member of the ensemble at Schauspiel Leipzig and in 2009 she was awarded the Leipzig Theatre Prize. During the 2010/2011 theatre season, Vulesica was a guest performer at the Deutsches Theater Berlin and Schauspiel Frankfurt. Anita Vulesica can also be seen in various German film and television productions, including the popular crime series: A Case for Two, Tatort (aka Scene of the Crime) and Police Call 110. From 2011 to 2017 she was a member of the Deutsches Theater ensemble.
