Trilingual international coproduction with HELLERAU – European Centre for the Arts Dresden, in cooperation with the Cameri Theatre of Tel Aviv. With support from the Goethe Institute Tel Aviv and Lilach (The Israel Society to Live and Die with Dignity)
What awaits us at the end of life? To what extent can we speak of a dignified death when life itself lacks dignity? How can we long for death when it threatens us from all sides? Three women from three different cultures explore issues surrounding self-determination in life and death, each in their own mother tongue: Hebrew, Arabic and German. Faced with extreme situations, such as natural catastrophes or war, they change. A deathly chill surrounds them, like a cold night when only three dogs can keep them warm.
