Thomsen Merkel

Thomsen "Slowey" Merkel, grew up in Berlin, graduated from the contact course for popular music at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg. Since then, he has worked as a freelance electric/contra bassist and songwriter for various artists, studio/theater and film productions. Leonce and Lena is now the ninth collaboration with Ulrich Rasche. Concerts and recordings for: Bosse, Phillip Boa and the Voodooclub, Mark Forster, Tom Schilling, Chakuza, Kungfu, Julia Marcell, Andreas Bourani, Fotos, Pohlmann, Cäthe etc.
