Guido Lambrecht

Guido Lambrecht was born in Dessau in 1968 and studied acting at the "Hans Otto" Theatre Academy in Leipzig. From 1991 to 1996 he was engaged at Schauspiel Leipzig, and from 2001 to 2005 at Schauspielhaus Hamburg. He has also worked at the Theater Bremen, Schauspiel Düsseldorf, Theater Basel, Staatstheater Kassel, Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, Volksbühne Berlin and Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel Munich. From 2008 to 2013 he was again a permanent ensemble member at Schauspiel Leipzig. From 2013 to 2018 he was engaged at Schauspiel Köln and since 2018 Guido Lambrecht has been a permanent member of the ensemble at Hans Otto Theater Potsdam. He received the Solo Actor Award at the 1991 Schauspielschultreffen in Hamburg. He has been nominated for Actor of the Year several times by the trade magazine Theater heute. In 2010 he received the Leipzig Theatre Prize. Guido Lambrecht can regularly be seen in the cinema and on television.
