Jürgen Huth

Born in Potsdam. He studied at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch" Berlin. After engagements in Brandenburg, Rostock and Potsdam he joined the Deutsche Theater in 1984. Here he worked with the directors Heiner Müller, Friedo Solter and Alexander Lang. He played in Heiner Müller's Lohndrücker, in Don Carlos (director: Amélie Niermeyer) and Brecht's Mutter Courage und ihre Kinder (director: Peter Zadek). Jürgen Huth also worked regularly with the directors Dimiter Gotscheff and Michael Thalheimer. He played among others in Germania. Stücke by Heiner Müller (director: Dimiter Gotscheff) and was in several roles in Faust. Der Tragödie Zweiter Teil, Die Wildente as well as in Die Weber, directed by Michael Thalheimer. He is currently playing in Let Them Eat Money. Welche Zukunft?! (director: Andres Veiel), Das Missverständnis (director: Jürgen Kruse), Tod eines Handlungsreisenden (director: Bastian Kraft) und Das Fest (director: Anne Lenk).
