Isabelle Klemt

Isabelle Klemt was born in 1985 in Filderstadt. She studied violoncello in Berlin and Bern. In 2011/2012 she was a member of the Bern Symphony Orchestra, since then she has been working freelance. She is cellist of the Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra and works with the Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop and the Stargaze Ensemble, among others. As a stage musician she performed at the Maxim Gorki Theater under the direction of Ersan Montag. In the production Wolfskinder at the Neuköllner Opera she took part as actress and musician, directed by Ulrike Schwab. Isabelle works regularly as a studio musician, for The Notwist, Agnes Obel, the film The Revenant and various plays, including at the Theater Basel and Schauspiel Köln. Concert tours have taken her to Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Malawi, China, Japan, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Iran and numerous European countries.
