Georg Valentin
Georg Valentin, born in 1992 in Berlin, grew up in a family of musicians. At an early age he received lessons on the instruments piano, recorder, baroque oboe and oboe. At the age of twelve, he also discovered his passion for songwriting and music production, which continues to this day. As a teenager, the oboe led him to the Junge Philharmonie Brandenburg, with which he participated in opera and ballet productions and went on concert tours (including to India). Later, as a permanent member of the Stüba Philharmonic, he shared the stage with artists* such as Clueso, Max Prosa and Delhia De France and accompanied singer Alin Coen and the band De-Phazz on tour. After beginning his studies in philosophy, history and politics in Jena and Berlin, Georg Valentin began work in 2015 on the production of his first album Das Pferd in der Kutsche - oder der Weg nach Senzibél, which he completed in 2020. This was followed in 2021 by the production Drüber with musicians* from the Jazz Institute Berlin (JIB). He has always worked closely with sound engineer and producer Peter Funke, who has supported him since 2017.
