Mayla Häuser

Mayla Häuser, born in Berlin in 1995, studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts from 2015-2019. Since then she has been working as a freelance actress, developing and leading workshops in movement for acting students and trained as a yoga teacher at Spirit Yoga Berlin from 2020-2021, where she has also been teaching ever since. In 2022 she founded the TanzTheaterLyrik-Kollektiv SOZUSAGEN together with the theater pedagogue and sign language teacher Katharina Dittrich. Since 2023 she has been employed as an artistic collaborator for gestural movement in the departments of Acting and Contemporary Puppetry at the HfS Ernst Busch. She has worked with actor and director Marcel Kohler as a player in Oedipus Variations (Akademie der Künste, 2018) and as an assistant director in the project Der Schneesturm (Theaterakademie August Everding, 2022), among others. With Dirk und ich she works for the first time at the Deutsches Theater Berlin.
