Ingo Schröder

Ingo Schröder was born in 1969 in Hanover. Since his youth he has played guitar in several bands. Since 1997 he has worked as a stage musician and composer at Schauspiel Hannover, e.g. for The Wild Duck directed by Barbara Bürk; at Schauspiel Düsseldorf for the director Andreas Kriegenburg for Kabale und Liebe (Intrigue and Love); and at the Deutsches Theater Berlin for Mourning Becomes Electra directed by Stephan Kimmig. On his own initiative, he also developed evening song recitals with the actors Wolf Bachofner and Markus Graf. For the Deutsches Theater Berlin he most recently worked together with the director Lilja Rupprecht on the evening song recitals Die Legende vom 60/40-Gemisch (The Legend of the 60/40 Mix) and Moritz Grove präsentiert Casablanca (Moritz Grover Presents Casablanca), and together with the director Fabian Gerhardt he worked on the music for the production Burn Baby Burn. With the director Brit Bartkowiak he developed the music for Wodka-Käfer (Vodka Beetles).
