Oleg Golovko graduated from St. Petersburg Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after Repin (E. Kochergin’s workshop). He also studied in Paris and participated in many international happenings and art exhibitions. Golovko designed sets for over 100 productions in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Riga, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tomsk, Barnaul, Yekaterinburg, Yaroslavl, Chelyabinsk, Petrozavodsk collaborating with directors Vladimir Zolotar, Gennady Trostyanetsky, Yevgeni Marchelli, Andrzej Buben, Andrey Prikotenko, and others. From 2004 to 2006, he was the head stage designer in the "Krasnyi Fackel" ("Red Torch") Theatre Novosibirsk where he released more than twenty productions. Golovko got numerous diplomas of the National Theatre Award Golden Mask, received the Higher Theatrical Award of St. Petersburg Golden Spotlights (for Suit by Nesterova in the Mariinsky Theater), was the winner of The Inter-Regional Theatrical Festival Novo-Siberian Transit (for Masquerade by Lermontov in the "Krasnyi Fackel" ("Red Torch") Theatre Novosibirsk), and became the triple winner of the Novosibirsk theatrical award Paradise.
