Linda Spörl was born in Berlin in 1988. From 2006 to 2008 she trained as a fashion design assistant at the OSZ for clothing and fashion. Then she completed internships with Berlin fashion labels and the Deutsches Theater Berlin. From 2010 she studied costume design with Prof. Maren Christensen at the Hochschule Hannover für Design und Medien. During her studies she worked as an intern at the Thalia Theater and the Staatsschauspiel Dresden. In 2014 she successfully completed her Bachelor of Arts. Afterwards she worked mainly as an assistant, among others at the Thalia Theater and the Stuttgart State Opera as well as in various television and film productions. Her first own works were created at the Theater Osnabrück, where she designed the costume for two productions as part of the Spieltriebe Festival. She also developed costumes for short films at the DffB and the Filmakademie Baden Württemberg. Since the 2017/2018 season she has been a permanent costume assistant at the Deutsches Theater.
