Carsten Brocker

Carsten Brocker studied jazz/rock/pop, majoring in piano, as well as music education at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden. In addition to his work as musical director of the group Alphaville, he is a freelance keyboardist, composer and sound designer (including collaborations with Sven Helbig, Ulrich Rasche, Robot Koch). In addition to his lectureship at the Macromedia University of Applied Sciences, he deals with musicological topics in the field of popular electronic music (dissertation on the musical work of Kraftwerk).
