Katelyn Rose King

Katelyn Rose King is a music practitioner and researcher working in the fields of theater, new/contemporary music and everywhere in-between. Her ongoing interests lie in the postdigital culture of music and theater, experimentation with vintage electronic enhancements to her percussive performance, and concepts of feminism in trans-/posthumanistic musical art. Teaching, pop culture musicking and contemporary classical performance are also parts of her musical identity. She is presently working towards a PhD at the Universität Hildesheim, performing at Deutsches Theater and conducting research at the Hochschule der Künste Bern.
