Simon Brusis

Born 1978 in Munich. Acting training at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Academy of Music and Theater in Leipzig. First engagement at the Staatstheater Meiningen. He then made guest appearances at the Thalia Theater Hamburg and the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, among others. In the 2008/2009 season he was a permanent ensemble member at the Theater Magdeburg and from 2009 to 2011 permanently engaged at the Hans-Otto-Theater Potsdam. Subsequently, Simon Brusis made guest appearances at the Deutsches Theater Berlin, Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, Ballhaus Naunynstrasse, Anhaltisches Theater Dessau and Theater Bonn, among others. From 2015 to 2019 Simon Brusis was an ensemble member of the Theater Neumarkt in Zurich, where he worked with directors Heike M. Goetze, Simone Blattner, Alexander Eisenach Jacques Palminger and Peter Kastenmüller, among others. Since the season 2019/20 he is again free guest also at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg and is part of the collective Präsidentenbalkon.
