Harald Thor

Harald Thor was born in Salzburg and completed his studies as a set and costume designer in 1982. In 1984, he joined the Staatsoper Munich where he became the head of set and costumes two years later. Subsequently, he took up the same position as well as lecturing in set design at the Bayrische Theaterakademie. He has worked at theatres and opera houses in Munich, Berlin, Basel, Zurich, Moscow, Seoul, Dortmund, Mannheim and many more. Since 2001, Harald Thor has been a freelance set and costume designer. He has a long-term working partnership with Andreas Kriegenburg.
