Max Thommes

Max Thommes has been performing on the stages of Luxembourg since his early childhood, and it was here that he received his art education at the Lycée technique des Arts et Métiers, before settling in Berlin and completing his acting studies at the HfS Ernst Busch. After graduating, he worked as a freelance actor and musician at the Schaubühne Berlin, the Deutsches Theater Berlin, Schauspiel Leipzig, Schauspiel Dortmund, Schauspiel Hannover, Staatstheater Trier, as well as the VingtièmeThéâtre in Paris, the Festival d'Avignon and the Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg, among others. In front of the camera, Max Thommes starred in the drama Mammejong, had himself monitored for 30 days for the documentary Nothing To Hide and starred in the first Luxembourg sitcom Weemseesdet. On Tatort Freiburg, he starred alongside Heike Makatsch as Inspector Hendrik Koch and as gas station attendant Max several times on ZDF's Kommissarin Heller.
