Seyneb Saleh

Born in 1987 in Aalen. Seyneb Saleh grew up as the daughter of German-Iraqi parents in Solingen, Königswinter, Casablanca and Bremen. After graduating from high school, she studied acting at the Berlin University of the Arts from 2008 to 2012 and received a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation. During her acting studies she already performed at the Deutsches Theater Berlin and the Maxim Gorki Theater. After her studies, she was a permanent ensemble member at the Schauspielhaus Graz from 2012, where she worked with Sebastian Schug, Patrick Schlösser, Yael Ronen, Viktor Bodo, Anna Badora and the puppeteer Nikolaus Habjan, among others. In 2015 she changed to the Volkstheater Wien, where she worked in productions by Stephan Kimmig, Dušan David Parízek, Philipp Preuss and Sarantos Zervoulakos, among others. From the 2019/20 to 2020/2021 season, Seyneb Saleh was in the ensemble of Schauspiel Hannover, where she can currently be seen in Bilder deiner großen Liebe. In addition, Seyneb Saleh is active in film and television, for example in the Netflix productions Mute (2018) and Dogs of Berlin (2018), the Sky series Munich Games (2022) and the feature films Toubab (2021) and Zwischen Uns (2022). In 2022 she received the German Acting Award in a dramatic supporting role for Toubab.
