Christoph Bernewitz

Christoph Bernewitz (*1983 in Weimar) studied jazz guitar at the "Franz Liszt" College of Music in Weimar. From 2002 to 2015 he played in the band of singer/songwriter Clueso, for whom he contributed to five albums and many singles as a composer. Christoph lives in Berlin and can be seen as a studio musician and in the bands of artists such as Niels Frevert, Jazzanova, Katharina Franck, Cäthe, the Moka Efti Orchestra, Ganna Gyniva, Annett Louisan and his own band TAPES. Since 2020, Christoph Benewitz has worked regularly with actor and director Marcel Kohler. Together they worked on Draussen vor der Tür (2021, DNT Weimar) and Das Märchen von der kleinen Meerjungfrau (2022, Theater Heidelberg).
