Risk Lab is a series of performances about taking risks in art, in conversation with artists who are in danger. For each performance, Ada Mukhína invites a new guest to the theatre via video link. Based on interviews and lived experiences of artists at risk from over the world, this piece challenges the role of art in modern society. The third episode was developed especially for the festival in collaboration with Belarus theatremakers Anna Sagalchik and Tim Tkachev. They are the founders of the St.Petersburg-based 12:12 Group, a collective that consists of five creative activists who express themselves in arts and education.
Look forward to artistic provocations that invite you to think, decide and act!
The first two episodes of Risk Lab with Abhishek Thapar (India/Netherlands) and Anis Hamdoun (Syria/Germany) were premiered in Camden People‘s Theatre in London in 2018.
Please note that the performance will be filmed for documentary purposes.
