Jade Pearl Baker

The very first time Jade Pearl Baker reached for a make-up-bag was three years ago on the island of Corfu to prepare for the "MISS*ter CSD election" in Berlin. After this she performed many times in her favourite bar "Rauschgold". Jade Pearl Baker sings regularly in the BKA-theatre, where she also enchants her audience with her own late-night show called Badeperle. Since her participation in the TV-show "The Voice of Germany", she has gotten famous beyond Berlin's city limits. Jade Pearl Baker is politically active: as an emissary of the queer activist group Travestie für Deutschland (Drag for Germany), she performs as a singer on the occasion of Christopher Street Days in various European cities. In her aesthetic and charming way Jade Pearl Baker shows that there are no limits in shaping oneself and one´s live. Her travesty is a merry masquerading that reveals the true pearl.
