Kamilė Gudmonaitė

Kamilė Gudmonaitė, born in 1992, studied directing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in Vilnius. She is also a singer and songwriter in the duo Kamaniai Šilelis. Her directing debut, a production of Strindberg’s A Dream Play, won the Audience Award at the Czech Encounter Festival in Brno and also won an award at the theatre festival in Spoleto, Italy. She enjoyed further successes with her adaptations of Gott ist ein DJ (Gos is a DJ) by Falk Richter and Timon, based on Shakespeare.
