Born in Vienna, Evamaria Salcher studied acting at the Vienna Conservatory.

Her first permanent engagement took her to the Staatstheater Saarbrücken, after which she was a member of the ensemble at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, the Staatsschauspiel Dresden and the Schauspielhaus Bochum. From 2010 to 2015, Evamaria Salcher worked as a freelance actress in film, radio and theatre in Heidelberg, Lübeck, Würzburg, Bolzano, Bonn, Essen, Stuttgart, Berlin and Lucerne, among others. From 2015 to 2023 she was a permanent member of the Schauspielhaus Graz.

Evamaria Salcher has been a member of the ensemble at Deutsches Theater Berlin since the 2023/24 season.
