Vita

Paulina Neukampf studied Polish philology in Poznań and theatre directing at the HfMT Hamburg. Her production of Elfriede Jelinek’s FaustIn and Out won the Audience Award at the Körber Studio Junge Regie in 2015.

In her productions, she explores the individual in all their complexity – both as a private and a political figure. This applies in particular to young people, whose perspectives and issues she addresses with the same artistic depth and sincerity.

From 2020 to 2024, Paulina Neukampf headed the children’s and youth theatre department at Theater Paderborn. She has worked at theatres including Schauspiel Hannover, Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Staatstheater Nürnberg and Theater Oberhausen, where, in addition to stage productions, she has also staged site-specific projects with local communities.
