Sven Michelson was born in Luxembourg and is a musician, composer, and producer. Since 2010, he has been composing for theater productions at the Centraltheater Leipzig, Schauspiel Stuttgart, Staatstheater Mainz, Schauspiel Köln, Staatsschauspiel Hannover, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Staatstheater Kassel, Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, Burgtheater Wien, Deutsches Theater Berlin, Berliner Ensemble, and Volksbühne Berlin, working with directors Robert Borgmann and Albrecht Hirche, among others. He was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen in 2014 with Uncle Vanya and in 2015 with Die Unverheiratete (directed by Robert Borgmann). As a drummer, he has recorded a large number of albums and produced music for radio plays, short films, and sound installations. Since 2011, he has been working continuously with author and director Alexander Eisenach.
