synopsis
Parzival knows nothing of the world. He grows up isolated in the forest, far removed from social norms, power structures, and the logic of war. But the world cannot be kept at bay forever. And so Parzival sets off into the world: naive, curious, and determined to become a Knight of the Round Table. He makes mistakes, asks questions too late, makes wrong decisions, encounters love, exclusion, guilt, and an idea greater than anything he has ever known: the Holy Grail.
What does it mean to act chivalrously today? What shapes our thoughts and actions when our parents and schools no longer provide satisfactory answers? Who do we listen to—and who listens to us? Between myth and reality, an evening emerges about the right to orientation and the necessity of fighting for one's place in the world, whatever the cost.
