Vita
Andri Schenardi was born in Altdorf/Uri in Switzerland and studied acting at the Zurich University of the Arts.
His first engagement took him to the Stadttheater Bern from 2007, where he worked with directors including Erich Sidler, Philipp Becker, Claudia Bauer, Markus Bothe, Matthias Kaschig, Claudia Bossard and Jan-Christoph Gockel. Between 2014 and 2023, he performed as a freelance actor at various theatres in Switzerland and was a regular guest at Schauspielhaus Graz. He also collaborates closely with the integrative theatre collective Frei_Raum in Bern under the direction of Rahel Bucher and Meike Schmitz.
Andri Schenardi works for film and television and has been part of numerous radio plays for Swiss Radio SRF and ARD. His biggest appearance in front of the camera was as the narrator Franky Loving in Dani Levy's Onetake-Tatort: Die Musik stirbt zuletzt.
Andri Schenardi has been a member of the Deutsches Theater Berlin ensemble since the 2023/24 season.
