Director and activist Katharina Bill has already staged the successful play development Im Spiegelsaal in the Box and is devoting her new production to the topic of violence together with performers. Together, they explore both acted and real violence, as well as its representation in the media. From a feminist perspective, they shed light on how patriarchal violence is expressed in fighting stereotypes and examine the fascination of fighting - be it in the boxing ring, in gaming, in the theatre or in the real fights that take place in our society. In Fighten, nine fighters of different ages, with different bodies and biographies step into the ring together and prepare to defend their individual convictions. They wrestle, duel and defend each other, kick, box and fight. They push themselves to their limits, fall, get up again, give up and fight on.
