Vita

Born in Bielefeld. First practical experience at the Theater Bielefeld as part of a pre-study internship in theatre and event technology. Studied at the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Berlin from 2002 to 2006. Graduated with a degree in theatre and event technology. At the same time as studying, first work as a lighting designer for independent theatre productions, which were also shown at various festivals (including Junge Hunde Festival 2005 in Meiningen, Theatre Festival Hamburg 2007 at Kulturhaus 73, Boxenstopp Festival 2008 at Theater der jungen Welt Leipzig). During her studies, she spent a practical semester at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden London, specialising in lighting. As part of her master's thesis in the Event Technology and Management programme, she worked as an intern for the French lighting designer André Diot on a production at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Paris. Subsequently worked as a lighting technician at the Salzburg Marionette Theatre until 2010. From 2010 to 2013 lighting master at the Staatstheater Kassel. Since 2013 lighting master at the Deutsches Theater Berlin.
