Vita

Frieder Langenberger, born in Stuttgart, studied acting at the Graz University of Arts from 2015 to 2019. He spent his final year at Schauspiel Dortmund under the direction of Kay Voges. Here he worked with the directors Laura N. Junghanns, Gordon Kämmerer and Thorleifur Örn Arnarsson and was seen as August in norway.today (director: Frank Genser).

With his diploma thesis MALADE oder Woanders ist auch noch (director: Rebekka David) he was invited to the ‘Woche junger Schauspieler*innen 2020’ in Bensheim. Since 2019, he has been permanently employed at Schauspielhaus Graz, where he has created important works with Anita Vulesica and Claudia Bossard, among others. In 2022, he was nominated for the Nestroy Theatre Prize in the Best Young Male category for his role as Salvatore Brandt in Vulesica's production of Garland. This was followed in 2023 by a Nestroy nomination for Best Leading Actor for Bunbury. Ernst sein is everything!

Frieder Langenberger has been a member of the Deutsches Theater Berlin ensemble since the 2023/24 season.
