Vita

Julischka Eichel was born in Tübingen and studied acting at the Ernst Busch University of Theatre Arts in Berlin.

From 2007 to 2012, she was a member of the ensemble at the Maxim Gorki Theatre in Berlin, where she was invited to the 2007 Berliner Theatertreffen with Ferdinand Bruckner's Krankheit der Jugend (director: Tilmann Köhler). She was also awarded the Alfred Kerr Acting Prize for Best Young Actress for her portrayal of Lucy and was voted Young Actress of the Year by the jury of the magazine ‘Theater heute’. In 2011, she received the Theatre Prize of the Friends of the Maxim Gorki Theatre. Until 2018, she was a member of the ensemble at the Staatsschauspiel Stuttgart.

Julischka Eichel guested at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Staatsschauspiel Dresden, Theater Bremen, Schauspiel Leipzig, Theater Basel and Volksbühne Berlin, where she has worked with Armin Petras, René Pollesch, Nora Schlocker, Robert Borgmann, Sebastian Baumgarten, Jorinde Dröse and Kay Voges, among others.

In addition to her theatre work, she has appeared in numerous cinema and television productions.

Julischka Eichel has been a member of the Deutsches Theater Berlin ensemble since the 2023/24 season.
