Janek Maudrich, born in Hamburg, graduated from the Ernst Busch Universtity of Theatre Arts in 2021. During his studies, he performed at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz, as a puppeteer at Schauspiel Köln, at the Ernst Deutsch Theatre in Hamburg and at theatre festivals in Morocco and China. 

From 2021 to 2023, he was a member of the ensemble at the Volkstheater München.

Janek Maudrich has been a member of the ensemble at Deutsches Theater Berlin since the 2023/24 season.
